While I haven’t read every book by this writer I have to say that this one is my favorite yet. Each book just keeps getting better and better. Deja and James were so perfect for one another, but life gets in the way. Or rather Deja making some shady choices before she ever meets the man who is destined to be her soulmate. It’s the determination to save her sister that drives Deja into conning James, the sexy billionaire, but it’s honestly the best mistake of her life.I loved reading the twists and turns of this book throughout their relationship. The plot was thick enough to really sink into and forget the world as I read. There were a few spots in the book that I didn’t know how Deja was going to get out of the mess she’d made. Everyone (including James and her sister) were angry with her and I felt so bad for her. She was just trying to do the right thing or at least the thing that would save her sister’s life. That’s the other thing I loved about this book. It showed love in many different forms – from the love Deja had for her sister to how she accidentally fell in love with James (who is my favorite book boyfriend at the moment).
This books just left me feeling hopeful, because it was full of imperfect people who still managed to find the perfect love even if it was through nontraditional methods.

A good read
VERRY GOOD
I did not think I would love this book but it turned out to be very tastefully written with mystery jealousy romance and love. I would definitely recommend this book
The novel actually had a plot, people that you as a reader cared about and was very readable. One of the better BWWM books I have read in awhile. Recommend
I tried... I tried to read as much as I could but when Deja told James she loved him, I had to leave this book alone. The story line was so unrealistic and the romance and fire was not there. Very boring.
This was a very interesting story. The main characters had me believing that I was actually experiencing their journey.
The story of James and Deja is the typical guys goes to Vegas, gets trashed, meets a beautiful girl and wakes up the next day naked and married & unable to remember what happened. The twist comes when we finds out the whole thing was a setup by his former friend/current rival to gain leverage on a business deal.
The rest of the story is kind of... I don't know. When James realizes he is married, his first instinct is to call his lawyer. He is very wealthy and somewhat famous so he has his assets to think about. He is also worried that the gentleman he is trying to do business with is very conservative. This reckless behavior may loose him the contract.
Deja needs money like yesterday. Her sister is dying and the money will pay for an experimental surgery that may just save her life. She puts her pride and good sense on the back burner and agrees to assist with a so called prank. For $50,000 all she has to do is get James to marry her and stay married for a week. Easy right? Wrong! The man only pays her $1000 up front and she soon realizes that he is lying to her about the prank and never intends to pay her the rest of the money.
Things fast track from there. Deja claims to be in love with James, though they really haven't spent any alone time getting to know each other. What she feels is lust because according to her he was a great lover on their wedding night. James feels a pull toward Deja too, but is rightfully leery of her motives.
Then it gets a little weird. In a week's time, Deja finds out that she is pregnant after suffering a bout of morning sickness. Correct me if I'm wrong, but pregnancy symptoms don't take hold that quickly. According to the hotel doctor, she is due in eight months. James automatically thinks he's going to be a daddy. Nobody, not even the lawyer, questions the paternity even though he never met this woman before and they have only been together less than a week. The timeline doesn't make sense at all. The book ends with a HEA, but I wasn't feeling it.
